PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preparation method of a sample for analysis capable of discriminating and quantitating accurately a coupling scheme of sialic acid with a sugar chain, and applicable to sugar peptide or glycoprotein.SOLUTION: In a preparation method of a sample for analysis, when sialic acid is coupled with a sugar chain of an analysis object material, a reaction for producing each different modification corresponding to a coupling scheme of sialic acid is carried out. In the reaction, the analysis object material containing the sugar chain, amine containing two or more carbon atoms and a dehydration condensation agent are used. The obtained sample for analysis is analyzed by mass spectrometry or the like, to thereby discriminate the coupling scheme of sialic acid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
