摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for a resonant switch RFOG using feed-forward processing.SOLUTION: A system comprises: a fiber optic resonator 120; a first laser source 110 that launches a first beam 101 into the resonator 120; a second laser source 112 that launches a second beam 102 into the resonator 120 in an opposite direction; a first servo loop 130 that locks the first beam 101 to a first resonant mode of the resonator 120 during a first state, and to a second resonant mode of the resonator 120 during a second state; a second servo loop 132 that locks the second beam 102 to the second resonant mode thereof during the first state, and to the first resonant mode during the second state; and a feed-forward rate processor 135 that is coupled to the servo loops 130 and 132 to calculate an FSR average across previous resonance switching cycles of resonance frequency measurement values, and apply the average to a current measurement value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
