PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an induction heating fixing device and an image forming apparatus that can ensure desired heat generation efficiency by adjusting the distance between an electromagnetic induction heating device and a fixing belt irrespective of the state of heat accumulation.SOLUTION: There is provided an induction heating fixing device comprising an electromagnetic induction heating device 8A and a fixing device 20 arranged opposite to the electromagnetic induction heating device 8A, wherein the electromagnetic induction heating device 8A includes moving mechanisms 12, 14 that move the electromagnetic induction heating device 8A, and a direction of movement (X-direction) of the electromagnetic induction heating device 8A is a direction different from a direction (Y-direction) where a largest tension force is applied to a fixing roller 2 by tension members 12, 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
