PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make eliminable such limitation that optical isotropic films should be used for the transparent conductive film of the upper sheet and for the transparent conductive film of the lower sheet of a touch panel, by using a transparent conductive film instead of the upper film of the panel. SOLUTION: The transparent conductive film 73 which forms one body which the upper polarizing plate 70 integrated with a transparent conductive film constitutes one of two resistance films of a resistance film type touch panel. The upper polarizing plate 70 consists of a lower film 71, optical film and transparent conductive film 73. In the upper polarizing plate 70, the transparent conductive film is used instead of a conventional upper film, and the upper polarizing plate is produced by laminating the lower film 71 on the lower face of the optical film 72, laminating a film of a different pattern with an adhesive applied on the upper face of the optical film 72, cutting into a required size to form a film of a different pattern, and then adhering the transparent conductive film 73 having the electrode printed.
