The system has lancets (3) and a puncture device (2) with a casing containing a movable lancet holder (12) for exchangeable lancets and a lancet drive (15). The casing has a removable cap (20) at the front end to remove a used lancet from the casing. The lancet and the casing cap are coupled by a coupling mechanism (28), so that when the casing cap is removed, the lance is pushed out of the lancet holder.
