PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt plant capable of decontaminating contaminated soil, which has a specially devised damper structure arranged at a branch portion of a discharge chute toward a branch chute, is simple in structure, at least free from a fear of feeding soil to a plant body, and excellent in maintainability. SOLUTION: The asphalt plant is provided with the branch chute 21 at some midpoint of the upper discharge chute 20 of a vertical conveying device 2, for discharging the soil, an openable gate 22 at some midpoint of the branch chute 21, and a damper 23 rotatably arranged at a downstream-side upper portion of the branch portion of the upper discharge chute 20 to the branch chute 21, for opening/closing a chute passage toward the plant body 3. When the soil is discharged, the openable gate 22 is opened, and the damper 23 is closed to close the chute passage to the plant body 23, whereby the discharging of the soil takes place.
