PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wash-stand drain valve capable of efficiently preventing the occurrence of slime inside of a drain outlet and a hair catcher and changing a simply exhausted slime prevention medicine. SOLUTION: A medicine replacement type slime prevention function attached wash-stand drain valve is equipped with a solid chemicals 4 containing a growth suppression substance of microbe, a chemicals holding section equipped with a ring-like seal member 3 and a chemicals storing basket 5 capable of storing the solid chemicals fixed downward of the ring-like seal member, a drainage valve body 1 having a vertical rod 7 holding the hair catcher vertically provided from the chemicals holding section and a seal water member 2 capable of making water seal of the drain outlet of a wash-stand bowl by cooperating with the ring-like seal member.
