PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a nonwoven fabric in which tensile strength in vertical direction of a nonwoven fabric is enhanced and production process is simplified without dividing the production process into several stages and further, adhesive force in the horizontal direction of the nonwoven fabric is remarkably enhanced and to provide an apparatus for producing the nonwoven fabric. SOLUTION: The method for producing a nonwoven fabric comprises an extrusion step for forming fiber lines by discharging a plurality of thread-like fibers directly below closely in longitudinally parallel by extrusion and a drawing step for drawing the fiber lines by passing a drawing roller set and a conveying and stacking step for receiving the drawn fiber lines from beneath and stacking the fiber lines while horizontally conveying the fiber lines.
