PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound useful for treating cyclooxygenase-2 mediated diseases, to provide a process for synthesis of the compound, and to provide pharmaceutical compositions containing the compound. SOLUTION: The composition contains the Form V polymorph of Compound A of structural formula (A) which is nontoxity and selectively inhibits cyclooxygenase-2. The compound is obtained by heating the Form I, Form II, Form III and Form IV polymorph in isopropyl acetate at a temperature lower than about 75°C, cooling the resultant and isolating therefrom.
