PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved consolidation preventing method in the actual use environment which solves the requirement such that, since 3-iodo-2-propynylbutyl carbamate after production consolidates into a large lump in storage or transport to make it difficult to take it out of a container when it is made into preparations or actually used, the consolidated lump has to be pulverized by a hammer, or the like, or the 3-iodo-2-propynylbutyl carbamate has to be subdivided and packaged beforehand. SOLUTION: Incorporation of at least one inorganic compound selected from a silicate, a carbonate, and an oxide into 3-iodo-2-propynylbutyl carbamate prevents the 3-iodo-2-propynylbutyl carbamate from consolidating over a long period of time and enables ease handling in making preparations and actual use.
