PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sorting and conveyance unit capable of conveying exposed photographic paper while switching a conveyance state between a staggered arrangement and a parallel arrangement. SOLUTION: This conveyance apparatus comprises a sorting unit U4 which permits a pair of chucker CH to chuck the photographic paper P exposed by an exposure unit and delivered from a front roller unit U3 and which delivers the photographic paper P to a sorting path, and a controller which performs sorting so that the photographic paper P may be sorted so as to have a staggered arrangement if the length of the photographic paper P is smaller than its prescribed value and the front ends of the photographic paper P may be in parallel to each other if the length of the photographic paper P is at least the prescribed value.
