<p>The invention relates to a safety device for sockets for wiring systems, comprising a switch for each female connector of the socket that is connected to an active conductor of the electric line powering the socket, each switch being equipped with at least one normally-open contact. One of the terminals thereof can be connected to an active conductor of the electric line, while the other terminal can be connected to a corresponding female connector. Moreover, each switch is equipped with actuation means for opening and closing the normally-open contact, said actuation means being actuated in turn by a corresponding closure mechanism belonging to the socket and/or the plug. In this way, when the plug is plugged in, the male terminals of the plug come into contact with the female connectors of the socket and, subsequently, the normally-open contact of the switches is closed by means of the closure mechanisms, thereby maintaining the female connectors under voltage.</p> |
