<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition for an electrochemical element electrode which composition offers an electrochemical element having both high capacitance and low inner resistance, the electrochemical element electrode manufactured by using the composition, a manufacturing method for the electrode, and an electric double layer capacitor having a large capacitance and a small inner resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The composition for the electrochemical element electrode contains a polymer (A), a cellulosic derivative, and an electrode active material. The polymer (A) shows a glass-transition temperature (Tg) of 50°C or lower, and contains a nitrate. The electrochemical element electrode is manufactured by the manufacturing method including a step of coating a current collector with the composition, and subjecting the current collector to a heat treatment under temperatures of 100 to 250°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
