COMBINED CARBON FIBER MATERIAL AND COMPOSITE MATERIAL PRODUCED BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combined carbon fiber material composed of a carbon fiber structure material having a specific structure and a binder and provide a composite material containing the combined carbon fiber material.

SOLUTION: The carbon fiber structure material comprises a three-dimensional network form composed of carbon fibers having an outer diameter of 15-100 nm. A combined carbon fiber material is produced by using a carbon fiber structure material having granular parts to bond the carbon fibers in a state extending a plurality of the carbon fibers and adding a binder for bonding the carbon fiber structure material. A composite material is produced by compounding the combined carbon fiber material in a matrix in an amount of 0.1-30 mass% based on the total composite material.
