<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode for a fuel cell using a hydrocarbon system electrolyte material with oxidation resistance and a high cell performance. <P>SOLUTION: The electrode is provided with a hydrocarbon system electrolyte material with a vinyl system monomer as a component element, with an ion exchange capacity of 0.5 meq/g or more and 4.0 meq/g or less, and with an ion exchange capacity and/or molecular weight in the vicinity of electrode catalyst powder relatively lower than other parts. The above product can be simply realized by using two kinds of electrolyte and controlling a sequence of mixing/dispersion. As a result, the electrode catalyst powder can be well dispersed, and an action can well be improved. Further, stability is improved by adoption of an electrolyte material with a small ion-exchange capacity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
