<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a host base printer which can be equipped with a small capacity RAM even if toner density is fed back and controlled, a printer driver to operate a computer as a host computer to supply image data of an image to be printed to the host base printer and a printing system comprising the host base printer and a host computer to supply the image data of an image to be printed to the host base printer. <P>SOLUTION: As shown in Fig. 1, the host base printer 10 regularly prepares and stores a gamma correction table (S101 to S103). The host computer 20, when accepting an instruction to execute printing, acquires the gamma correction table from the host base printer 10 (S201 and S202), generates the image data of content relating to the execution of printing, performs gamma correction and sends the image data to the host base printer 10 (S203). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
