PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide small-sized electrical equipment which performs a remaining capacity display without impairing the designability of the small electrical equipment, as compared with the remaining capacity display in an operation, when the small electrical equipment in the operation displaying the remaining capacity stops and displays the remaining capacity. SOLUTION: During a power is supplied to a motor 5, a voltage is applied to a liquid crystal panel 11, according to a remaining capacity detected by a remaining capacity detection means, and the remaining capacity is displayed with emitting a light by a backlight 55. After the stop of the power supply to the motor 5, the backlight 55 is switched off after a first predetermined time is passed.
