PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a player from sensing a change in a performance mode. SOLUTION: This game machine with a performance unit is so formed that the performance unit can execute a performance by changing over between a performance by a first performance mode and a performance by a second performance mode, is provided with a shielding means making it difficult for the player to view a mode which is just changing over between the performance by the first performance mode and the performance by the second performance mode, and the performance unit is characterized in, when non-changing between the performance by the first performance mode and the performance by the second performance mode, executing a pseudo performance falsely executing a perform that it is under change.
