PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antifall spacer which prevents books, goods and the like from falling to be damaged while being made freely openable by single action. SOLUTION: Two frames each formed into a roughly rectangular frame are connected together crossing each other with an X-shaped frame (41) having blocks (4) and built up on a fulcrum (3) through a resilient washer (33) so that both the frames are opened or closed horizontally on the fulcrum (3) at which both cross each other and stopped at a desired angle to make it stand vertically. The blocks (4) are arranged at four symmetrical positions respectively on the left and on the right and each have at least a plurality of curved surfaces with different curvatures, which are divided respectively with protrusions.
