PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera and electronic equipment capable of preventing a sound generated in the body from being transmitted to and picked up by a microphone. SOLUTION: A holding member 200 which is made of a rubber material and holds the microphone 5 is arranged behind a microphone hole 4. A rib 210 having a nearly-U-shaped section which is raised forward is provided in the front of the holding member 200. A V groove 110 is formed on the reverse side of a cover 1 at a position opposed to the rib 210. In a state where the digital camera is assembled, a battery box 9 presses the holding member 200 forward. The holding member 200 pressed forward by the battery box 9 abuts a front end 211 of the rib 210 against the V groove 110 of the cover 1 over the entire circumference. When the front end 211 of the rib 210 abuts against the V groove 110, the front end 211 abuts against both of a first slope 111 and a second slope 112. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
