INSULATOR RIDE FOR TENSION STRINGS IN TRANSMISSION LINES

An insulator ride for tension strings in transmission lines is provided to replace a defective insulator by allowing a worker to safely approach the defective insulator even in a live-wire state. An insulator ride for tension strings(10) in transmission lines includes a main body unit and a worker's chair support(17). The main body unit has four skids(13) of MC nylon to skid on the tension strings. The worker's chair support is inserted into guide pipes(16) of the main body unit and has four skids of MC nylon. The insulator ride further includes a main body fixing support(14) connected to a main body skid fixing frame(11) to prevent the main body unit from being separated from the tension strings.
