<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic file system, an operation device, an approval device and a computer program, setting a file corresponding to general-purpose application software as a target of management when managing the file recording information about a financial situation or the like, and reducing the work for an approval request to the file. <P>SOLUTION: In this electronic file system, an electronic file including an operation file that is a target of operation, and a restriction file showing a restriction condition for restricting the operation to the operation file and a request destination of approval of the restricted operation is operated by the operation device 1 receiving the operation to the electronic file and the approval device 2 used for the approval of the operation to the electronic file.
