PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a frequency error in carrier waves more precisely.
SOLUTION: Accumulative addition circuits 233-1 to 233-(2n+1) calculate an accumulative addition value indicating the correlation between a signal included in the carrier waves corresponding to the position of a pilot signal when the frequency of the carrier wave is shifted by an offset frequency and the pilot signal for each offset frequency set at an interval of Δf within an offset range by a control circuit 202. A reliability detection circuit 210 detects the reliability of the accumulative addition value, based on the difference between the maximum value of the accumulative addition values stored in registers 252, 253 and the second largest value or their ratio. An error detection circuit 211 detects the offset frequency, where the reliability becomes not less than a prescribed threshold and the accumulative addition value is maximized, as a wideband carrier frequency error, which can be applied to an OFDM receiver.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
