PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND FIELD EMISSION DISPLAY DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a PDP and an FED with higher reliability which have a reflection preventing mechanism to reduce more of an outdoor light reflection and are excellent in visibility.

SOLUTION: The plasma display panel is provided with a plurality of conical convex portions neighboring with each other and a reflection preventing layer provided with a covering film to cover the convex portions. The covering film to cover the convex portions are made of a material having a higher refractive index than that of the conical convex portion and a physical shape of a cone projected out toward an external side (an air side) from a surface side of a display panel changes a refractive index of an outdoor light and a light reflection is prevented.
