ULTRASONIC INSPECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wide band ultrasonic inspection method for easily checking the infiltration of hardening agent not only asbestos intermediate layer but also to boundary with a base material with which the asbestos layer adheres. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic inspection method is characterized by composing: a process for recording a wide band receiving wave by arranging a transmission probe 31 and reception probe 32 on the surface of asbestos layer A where is infiltrated with the hardener agent; and a process for extruding only the first reflection waves from the base material B using a time serial filter which is defined such that using the thickness of the asbestos layer d and the acoustic velocity of asbestos at the time of complete injection of the hardening agent, the arising time of the wide band region is obtained and weighting the receiving waves around the arising time based on the arising time for deducing the prescribed time serial filter.
