Mixed herbicidal compositions for controlling weeds, preferably in paddy field are provided. The compositions are characterized by comprising, as active ingredients, (a) an herbicidal difluoromethane sulfonamide, (b) at least one herbicidal compound selected from the group consisting of known herbicides as defined in claim 1 and, optionally, (c) one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of safeners.
