<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a personnel in charge at external notification destination to, when responding to notification issued by an emergency notification control device at external notification destination in response to emergency notification from a residence where an abnormal state is occurred, easily confirm the stopped state of notification by the following emergency notification control device. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When any reply is made from a portable telephone terminal 320(external notification destination) in response to a call to the portable telephone terminal 320 by an emergency notification control device 240, notification state information showing a notification state showing whether notification by the emergency notification control device 240 is performed or stopped is transmitted to the portable telephone terminal 320. Thus, it is not necessary for a personnel in charge carrying the portable telephone terminal 320 to confirm whether or not notification by the emergency notification control device 240 is actually put in a stopped state by taking the trouble to visit a control center in order to confirm whether or not the stop of notification by the emergency notification control device 240 has been correctly performed.
