PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve high-speed and high-quality image processing without increasing the circuit sizes of individual image processing modules included in an image proceeding module group.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: an image processing module group including a plurality of image processing modules for executing image processing; and managing means for managing the processing statuses of the individual image processing modules. A processing unit is determined for each image processing module. The image proceeding modules each start image processing by the determined processing unit on the basis of the processing status of an upstream image processing module among the processing statuses managed by the managing means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
