<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dewatering transition time by settling an unbalanced state caused in starting dewatering. <P>SOLUTION: A drum washing machine comprises: a current detecting part 25 for detecting a current of a motor 6 rotatively driving a drum 3; a position detecting part 18 for detecting a rotational position of the drum 3; a determining part 132 for determining an unbalanced position of the drum 3 on the basis of the current detecting part 25 and the position detecting part 18; a jetting part 16 for jetting water toward laundry from a circumferential direction of the drum 3; and an adjusting part 131 for adjusting the amount of jetted water of the jetting part 16 until it is determined, in accordance with a determination value obtained by the determining part 132, that an unbalanced state has been settled. In starting dewatering, the determining part 132 determines the unbalanced position along the rotational circumferential direction of the drum 3 in an operation state employing a balanced rotational speed at which centrifugal force applied to the laundry placed in the drum 3 is commensurate with gravity, and water is jetted when the position of the drum 3 opposite to the unbalanced position accords with a jetting position of the jetting part 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
