PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods and compositions for controlling phytopathogenic harmful fungi.SOLUTION: The present invention provides heteroarylpiperidine and heteroarylpiperazine derivatives of the formula (I), and salts, metal complexes and N-oxides of the compounds, processes for producing the compounds. Also provided are compositions for controlling phytopathogenic fungi obtained by mixing the compounds with extenders and/or surfactants, and the use of the compositions for controlling phytopathogenic harmful fungi.
