PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microchip capable of converging sample liquid layer flow to a center of a flow passage to enable liquid feeding, and easy to be molded.SOLUTION: In a microchip, are formed a first introduction flow passage, a second introduction flow passage made confluent with the first introduction flow passage, a confluent flow passage that communicates with the first introduction flow passage and the second introduction flow passage and in which fluid backflowed from these flow passages are made confluent to circulate. The confluent flow passage comprises a confluent part of the first introduction flow passage and second introduction flow passage, a flow contraction part provided on the downstream side in a backflow direction of the confluent part, and a taper part provided between the confluent part and the flow contraction part. The flow passage cross sectional area of the terminal of the taper part is made smaller than the flow passage cross sectional area of the confluent part, the flow passage cross sectional area of the initial point of the flow contraction part is equal to the flow passage cross sectional area of the terminal of the taper part, and the flow passage cross sectional area of the terminal of the flow contraction part is made smaller than the flow passage cross sectional area of the initial point of the flow contraction part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
