A lens barrel (10) is provided with a first group lens frame unit (11), a second group lens frame unit (12), a lens frame (16), an insertion hole (11c), and recesses (11ab, 16ca). The first group lens frame unit (11) holds lenses (L1-L3). The second group lens frame unit (12) holds a lens (L5). The lens frame (16) is disposed between the first group lens frame unit (11) and the second group lens frame unit (12) and is positioned on the inner peripheral side of the first group lens frame unit (11) with a radial gap (G) between the lens frame (16) and the first group lens frame unit (11). The insertion hole (11c) is formed in the outer peripheral surface of the first group lens frame unit (11), and a jig for the lens frame (16) is inserted into the insertion hole (11c). The recesses (11ab, 16ca) are provided at positions accessible from the outside while the first and second group lens frame units (11, 12) and the lens frame (16) are mounted together, and the recesses (11ab, 16ca) affix the lens frame (16) relative to the first group lens frame unit (11). |
