ANTI-INFLAMMATORY PHARMACEUTICAL COMPOSITION CONTAINING PEA15 FUSION PROTEIN

The present invention relates to an anti-inflammatory pharmaceutical composition comprising cell permeable PEA15 fusion protein. The present inventors prepared cell permeable PEA15 fusion protein and performed experiments to see if this fusion protein shows a protective effect on inflammation in hydrogen peroxide-treated Raw 264.7 cells and a TPA-treated dermatitis-induced animal model. As a result, it was shown that PEP-1-PEA15 fusion protein effectively entered the Raw 264.7 cell, and performed significant cell protective actions with respect to LPS- or hydrogen peroxide-induced inflammation and apoptosis. Furthermore, the locally applied PEP-1-PEA15 fusion protein was shown to induce a significant alleviating effect on the TPA (12-O-tetradecanoylphorbol-13-acetate)-induced ear edema. Thus, PEP-1-PEA15 fusion protein can be used as a therapeutic agent for various inflammatory and oxidative stress-related diseases.
