PURPOSE: An artificial blood vessel is provided to improve antithrombogenicity and to effectively induce the growth of blood vessel endothelial cells. CONSTITUTION: An artificial blood vessel comprises a polymer support layer consisting of antibody, peptide, and biocompatible polymer which is surface-modified by hydrophilic polymer. The peptide is RGD, YIGSR, or their mixture. The hydrophilic polymer is selected from a group consisting of polyethylene glycol, polyacrylic acid, polyacrylate, polyacrylamide, polyvinyl ester, polyoxide, polyvinyl alcohol, polystyrene, and their derivative or hybrid.
