<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-rolled steel sheet to be a raw material for an electromagnetic steel sheet for obtaining a grain-oriented electromagnetic steel sheet having excellent magnetic characteristics, and a means for obtaining the electromagnetic steel sheet from it. <P>SOLUTION: In the raw material for the electromagnetic steel sheet which contains, by mass%, 0.8-7% Si, 0.01-0.065% acid-soluble Al, 0.004-0.012% N, 0.05-1% Mn, 0.0005-0.0080% B, 0.003-0.015% in total of at least one kind selected from a group comprising S and Se, 0.085% or less C, and the remainder comprising Fe and inevitable impurities, the hot-rolled steel sheet satisfies relation (1): I<SB POS="POST">B</SB>/I<SB POS="POST">A</SB>≥0.08, in the XRD diffraction profile of deposits in the steel after a hot-rolling process, wherein I<SB POS="POST">B</SB>and I<SB POS="POST">A</SB>are the strongest line intensity of BN and AlN, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
