PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge container which is a portable slender container having an elongated nozzle cylinder erected from the mouth of an elongated container body and which has a piston push-down means without detriment to its slim outer shape. SOLUTION: In this container for discharging a liquid, a stem 6 is erected from the upper side of a cylindrical piston which a pump mechanism provided within a vertically elongated container body 1 in a suspended state has. An elongated nozzle cylinder 8 is erected in such a way that its lower end is fitted and joined to an upper outer face of the stem 6, and a push-down plate 14 is provided to a lower outer face of the nozzle cylinder 8 in such a manner as to be freely raised upright and laid flat. Further, an engaging means 18 is provided which holds the horizontal state of the push-down plate 14 at the time of being laid flat in the case where the push-down plate 14 is in the state of being laid flat. |
