Patches for external use, improved in the analgetic effect against inflammatory pains such as rheumatoid arthritis, arthrosis deformans, and lumbago. These patches are produced by applying on a substrate a medicated base prepared by incorporating a drug component comprising a local anesthetic and a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory analgesic into an adhesive gel base essentially comprising a water-soluble polymer, a crosslinking agent, water and a water-holding agent.
