PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a housing base serve as an arbitrary part of a paper face by eliminating an engaging means (a projection) formed integrally at the housing base. SOLUTION: A disk-shaped recording medium housing device which is available for housing a disk-shaped recording medium at an appropriate position on the housing base is made up by providing an elastic disk formed in a diameter approximately the same as a center hole of the disk-shaped recording medium out of an elastic deformative material with an adhesive surface formed at its one side and by fixing the elastic disk engaged with the center hole of the disk-shaped recording medium to an arbitrary position on the housing base through the adhesive surface. With an annex indication surface added, adjoining to the periphery of the disk-shaped recording medium, non-disk-shaped recording medium is formed, and the periphery of the disk-shaped recording medium is fixed by engagement with the housing base (a leaf of a magazine or the like).
