PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin packaging device capable of rapidly packaging coins without breaking a packaging paper. SOLUTION: In this coin packaging device, a motor 21 for a packaging roller 21 is controlled so as to satisfy an inequality of Rv1<Rv2, where Rv1 is the winding speed of the packaging paper P by the packaging roller 11 at the predetermined first winding time T1 from the start of the winding work, and Rv2 is the winding speed of the packaging paper P by the packaging roller 11 at the predetermined second winding time T2 next to the first winding time T1. A paper feeding means 12 is controlled so as to satisfy an inequality of Rv1<Fv1, where Fv1 is the paper feed speed of the packaging paper P by the paper feeding means 12 at the predetermined first paper feed time t1 from the start of the winding work.
