PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrogen storage and supply system which is excellent in stability and affectivity at a low cost. SOLUTION: This hydrogen storage and supply system utilizes at least either of hydrogenation reaction of a hydrogen storage body consisting of an aromatic compound and dehydrogenation reaction of the hydrogen supply body consisting of the hydrogenation derivative of the aromatic compound. This system consists of raw material storage means 2 housing the hydrogen storage body and/or the hydrogen supply body, plural reaction apparatus 4 housing metal deposited catalysts for effecting the hydrogenation and dehydrogenation, gas-liquid separating means for condensing the formed gas from the reaction apparatus and separating this gas to the hydrogen and the hydrogen storage body and reactant recovering means 8. The average spray particle diameter (Sauter's mean diameter) of the hydrogen storage body and/or hydrogen supply body from an injection nozzle is 5 to 1,000μm.
