PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resin dowels and a method for mounting and removing a drawer rail by using the resin dowels by which the drawer rail can be secured to a target of mounting by a single action after mounting the resin dowels on the drawer rail and the drawer rail can be easily removed and reused without losing shapes of prepared holes for screws, dowel protrusions, dowel holes and the like. SOLUTION: Resin dowels 20 are mounted on the drawer rail 10 through fasteners 12 which are detachably inserted in through holes 11 formed in the drawer rail 10. A body 21 of the dowel 20 is made into approximately a concave cross section. The internal diameter L1 of the concave hole 22 of the body 21 is made slightly smaller than the diameter L2 of the through hole 11 and the outer shape of the body 21 is formed into concavities and convexities 23.
