PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire for enhancing durability during run-flat traveling without impairing riding comfort during normal traveling in the pneumatic tire used with a support ring. SOLUTION: In the pneumatic tire, continuous recessed parts in a peripheral direction of the tire are formed on an inside face of a bead part positioned on the outside of a vehicle at least when the pneumatic tire is mounted on the vehicle and inside in the radial direction from the maximum cross-sectional width position of the tire. Also, the relationship between the height H from a rim outer diameter of the deepest position P of the recessed parts, and the cross sectional height Ch of the support ring is set to H≤Ch.
