PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure handiness in use and a dust collection function with miniaturization of the main body maintained while making the cutting position certainly viewable. SOLUTION: A dust cover 25 is set on a blade case 10. In the dust cover 25, a dust collection passage 31 partitioned from a saw blade 4 is formed, and a blow-out opening is formed on the rear side in the cutting direction in the blade case 10. In the circumferential part 26 of the blade case 10 positioned below the dust collection passage 31, an admission port 27 introducing an air flow produced by the rotation of the saw blade 4 from the front side in the cutting direction into the dust collection passage 31 and an auxiliary inlet 28 are formed. By a duct installed between the opening of the blade case 10 and the connection opening 41 of the dust cover 25, a branch plate installed in the opening position of the connection opening 41 and a nozzle part 46 that opens downward in the underside position of the branch plate, the cooling air for the motor is made possible to be exhausted to the nose of the base.
