PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a part holder for a part supply rod properly fixing a part holding member at a correct position of a head body connected to the supply rod. SOLUTION: This part holder is connected to a head body 26 of which a reference surface is formed to the front end of the supply rod 5, and is fixed to the head body 26 in such a state that an opening 35 for receiving a part 14 is formed inside a deep section and a cup-like part holding member 33 with a bottom section 36, on which the part 14 is seated, meets the reference surface. The part 14 supported by the part holding member 33 is thereby in an correct relative position against a counter member, thus appropriately supplying the part to the counter member.
