<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for enhancing convenience for a user, in distributed printing. <P>SOLUTION: This control unit for a distributed printing system, which is equipped with a display part, enables print jobs to be distributed to a plurality of printers connected to a network. The control unit comprises a distribution destination candidate display control part for displaying a distribution destination candidate printer, which is extracted from among the plurality of printers and serves as a candidate of a distribution destination for the print job, on a display part. The distribution destination candidate display control part allows user input for performing a warm-up, by specifying at least any one of the distribution destination candidate printers displayed on the display part.
