PROCESS FOR THE TREATING OF CALCIUM SULPHATE HEMIHYDRATE

A process for treating beta calcium sulfate hemihydrate is disclosed. The process comprises exposing beta calcium sulfate hemihydrate to steam at outlet temperature within the range between 100-200C in autoclave at high pressure and during the time, sufficient for the treatment of aqueous suspension, but at least 5 seconds based on the produced product and process for the production from the said hemihydrates of gypsum product.
