PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electronic component that can be reliably mounted to a slider by a rotary shaft and to the substrate of a terminal board and does not generate any electrical contact failure. SOLUTION: The rotary electronic component 1 comprises a substrate 10, where slide patterns 13, 17 are provided on the surface and a locking hole 21 passing through vertically is provided at the center; a slide 40 that is installed on the substrate 10, has slide sections 49, 44 sliding on the slide patterns 13, 17, and allows a shaft hole 45 to be provided inside; a terminal board 60 that is installed on a surface at the opposite side where the slide 40 is mounted in the substrate 10 and provides an insertion hole 63 passing through vertically inside; and a rotary shaft 90 that has a head section 91 and a shaft section 97, where a shaft section 97 is mounted to the slide 40 through the insertion hole 63 in the terminal board 60, a locking hole 21 in the substrate 10, and a support hole 45 in the slide 40. A spring section 67 for allowing the head section 91 in the rotary shaft 90 to spring in a direction separated from the substrate 10 is provided on the terminal board 60. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
