<p>The method involves determining consumption data in a quasi-continuous manner, and sending the consumption data directly to a central evaluation position in pre-determined time intervals. Quasi-continuously determined consumption data is sequentially accumulated, so that for each data acquisition, an accumulated consumption value is provided. All consumption data or each accumulated consumption value is stored during a pre-determined time period. The accumulated consumption value is compared with that of a preceding time period. An independent claim is also included for a computer-aided consumption data detection and evaluation system.</p> |
