<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element capable of improving short circuit current density and transfer efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: In the photoelectric conversion element of dye-sensitizing type having an action electrode 10 and a counter electrode 20 as well as an electrolyte contained body 30, dye 14 are carried in a metal oxide semiconductor layer 12 of the action electrode 10. This metal oxide semiconductor layer 12 includes a zinc oxide. Furthermore, the dye 14 contains cyanine dye having an indolenine structure. Thereby, in the action electrode 10, the dye 14 absorbs light so as to inject electrons in the metal oxide semiconductor layer 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
