PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller mechanism capable of achieving both suppression of changes in rotational speeds of a pair of rollers pressing a sheet material with urging force received from an urging member, and suppression of changes in pressing force of the pair of rollers more effectively than prior art. SOLUTION: Resilient forces of compression coil springs 66 and 68 urging the transfer roller 34 and driven roller 30 in directions approaching one another are superposed on magnetic repulsion forces of magnets 62, 64 respectively attached to the rotating shafts of the transfer roller 34 and driven roller 30 and urging the transfer roller 34 and driven roller 30 in directions separating from each other. The transfer roller 34 and driven roller 30 are brought into press-contact with each other by the superposed urging force. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
